Books are just the beginning of what we offer at the Shelburne Public Library.
From online resources, including courses taught by industry experts, genealogy databases, and language learning, to downloadable apps where you can stream music, movies, TV series, books and more, to passes to the ROM and Ontario Parks. YOUR library has it all and all you need is a library card!
For residents of Shelburne, Amaranth, Melancthon, Mono and Mulmur there is no charge to obtain a library card.
Non-residents – please contact us for current non-resident fees.
To obtain a library card, you will require valid documentation stating your name and current address (e.g. Driver’s License, utility bill, etc.). Children under the age of 16 may have their own card, but a parent or guardian must sign to accept responsibility on the child’s behalf.
Library cards are renewed annually in-person, by phone, or email, with confirmation of current contact information. Please report lost or stolen cards as soon as possible.
